Documenting enforced disappearances, torture and landmine injuries across the Pashtun belt.

The Wall of the Missing

A name. A date. A source.

A documented record of people disappeared, detained, injured and killed, assembled from published reporting, human-rights documentation and family accounts. Each documented case names its source so that no one can say it never happened.

How to read this record. Entries marked "Documented" are sourced to published reporting or rights documentation. Where a case is disputed or rests on a single source, that is stated. This is a record of reported and alleged cases, not a legal finding.
